Visiting Hvitträsk

Yesterday I visited Hvitträsk. Hvitträsk was built 1901-1903 by three architects: Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen. The main building is designed in National Romantic style and built of logs and stone. It was both a common studio and a home for Saarinen and Lindgren. Gesellius lived in the small villa (not in the pics here). The main building is a museum today and the villa has a restaurant and a café. The garden is built in English style.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
